Some spots earn loyal fans so fast that even a relocation can’t shake them. Crazy Cones is exactly that kind of place.

If you’ve been following Lahore’s dessert scene for a while, you’ve probably heard the name. Crazy Cones started out in Lakecity and quickly built a following that was genuinely hard to ignore  the kind where people weren’t just visiting once, they were coming back, and bringing people with them. And when the spot relocated to Johar Town, those same people followed.

This post is a collaboration, and I want to be upfront about that from the start. But when I say I enjoyed my visit, I mean it. Crazy Cones doesn’t need me to oversell it — the food does that work on its own.

What Crazy Cones actually is

At its core, Crazy Cones is a premium ice cream spot real dairy milk, generous portions, and a menu that goes well beyond the basic scoop. We’re talking loaded cones, waffle creations, crazy cups topped with everything from Oreo and fudge to M&Ms, shakes that are genuinely thick, and sundaes that look almost too good to eat. Almost.

What sets it apart from a standard ice cream counter isn’t just the toppings it’s the thought behind the combinations. Every item feels like it was designed to be a moment, not just a snack. You walk up, you see the options, and suddenly you can’t decide because everything sounds like the right answer.

For when you want to go all in

The dairy milk promise isn’t just marketing either you can taste it. The ice cream has a richness to it that the cheaper soft-serve alternatives simply don’t have. It’s the kind of thing you notice on the first bite and appreciate even more on the last.

The combinations at Crazy Cones aren’t random they feel like someone genuinely sat down and thought about what would taste extraordinary together. That kind of care shows up in every bite.

From Lakecity to Johar Town, the move

Crazy Cones originally set up in Lakecity, and if you were part of that crowd you’ll know exactly what the vibe was like. The new Johar Town location near G1 Market has picked up right where things left off — same energy, same quality, same experience of walking away feeling like you got something genuinely special.

Relocations can go either way for a food spot. Sometimes a move disrupts things. Here, if anything, the new location just opens up the place to a bigger slice of Lahore and honestly that feels right for a spot this good.

Who should go

Honestly? Everyone. But if I had to be specific if you’re someone who thinks they’ve had good ice cream in Lahore and are satisfied with that, Crazy Cones is going to quietly challenge that assumption. The combinations here aren’t things you stumble into anywhere else.

It works perfectly as an after-dinner stop, a mid-evening outing with friends, a treat to pick up on the way home, or something to bring to a gathering that’ll get people talking. The presentation travels well too these aren’t the kinds of desserts that look sad in a container.

Whether you’re there for the cone, the cup, the shake, or just to see what all the fuss is about, Crazy Cones will give you an answer you didn’t expect. In the best way.

Crazy Cones has done something a lot of food spots struggle to do, built a real following, moved locations, and kept every bit of what made people love it in the first place. If you haven’t been to the Johar Town spot yet, it’s absolutely worth the trip. Go hungry. Leave very, very happy.
